Medicating Nurse (RN and LPN) – Nursing Department
Will be responsible for setting up the nursing station and medicating clients.  Ensure that clients understand the policy and procedures for administering take-home medication.  Responsible for the renewal of patients assigned medication orders by the doctor.

Qualifications: Requires a valid State of New Jersey RN or LPN license.  Current CPR certification preferred.  Some nursing experience in hospital or clinic preferred.

A leading nonprofit opioid outpatient treatment provider located in Newark and Elizabeth, New Jersey are seeking highly qualified, and dedicated candidates who can provide direct services to Clients.

The Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor candidate will maintain a caseload of 50 clients.  Ensure completion of ASI/ASI-Lite, Treatment Plans, Progress Notes, Discharge Summaries and other essential documentation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and agency policies and procedures.   

Qualifications: BA/BS in a related field (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Sociology and Mental Health).  CADC is required.  Two (2) years of work experience.  High School Diploma or GED.

Candidate will have a written plan with supervisees, which outlines planned hours of practice, clinical supervision, types of clinical supervision, nature of work assignments that the supervisor deems appropriate to the Outpatient Counselor/Counselor Intern’s level of training.  Clinical Supervisor will obtain a written disclosure that the Client has been informed that the services are provided by a Supervisee under the Clinical Supervision of a Licensed Professional prior to the Outpatient Counselor/ Counselor Intern’s provision of treatment services.  Clinical Supervisor will jointly develop an Individual Development Plan indicating Core Functions, Developmental Activities, Target Dates, and Dates completed.  Outpatient Counselor/ Counselor Intern and Clinical Supervisor will sign off on all paper work.  Clinical Supervision of Outpatient Counselor / Counselor Intern shall include 50 hours of face-to-face supervision per year, averaging one hour per week.  Clinical Supervisor writes policy, procedures and protocols.  Oversee the Counselor’s CADC process.  Also, participate in Multidisciplinary meetings.               

Qualifications: Masters Degree in (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, and Mental Health).  Require Five (5) years of experience in substance abuse treatment and a minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience.  Must have an active New Jersey Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) Certification.
